Type+Image

For this project we were asked to go outside and take photographs of anything we found interesting. We needed a collection of ten total photographs and then choose three of our strongest ones. We then created three post cards for each image using extrapolated, integrated, and separated. Each postcard had to contain a photo, title of photo, camera and model name, and 3-5 sentences describing the photo.

Expressive Typography

For our second project we had to choose ten descriptive words that we could easily visualize. Out of the ten words we had to choose two of our favorites and create visual meaning to them. We then had to create five abstract sketches using lines, textures, and shapes that converted to the meaning of the words. After, we worked in Illustrator to create these words with their visual meanings. I chose to do Echo and Hot because they were the strongest of my words displaying the actual meaning.
